Opened in 1914, Wrigley Field is one of baseball’s most iconic parks, with its ivy-covered outfield wall and hand-turned scoreboard. Our private group tour will take you through the press box, Budweiser Bleachers, Visitors’ clubhouse, and the Cubs’ dugout.

 

This tour will run rain or shine and is accessible for scooters and wheelchairs. ASL interpretation is available.

Art Institute

The Art Institute of Chicago is one of the oldest, largest, and most popular art museums in the United States. Biennial’s private, docent-led tour will gain you early access to the museum and includes all fees and time to explore the collection on your own.

Holocaust Museum

Our visit to the Illinois Holocaust Museum will allow you two full hours to explore their exhibits. Admission includes access to their interactive holograms, where you will be able to use voice recognition technology to have conversations with a three-dimensional life-like image of an actual Holocaust survivor.

From skyscrapers to synagogues, Chicago’s world-renowned architecture pits old versus new and tells the story of a city and a nation. Join Geoffrey Baer, host of PBS’ “10 That Changed America” series, for a 3-hour, bus-led tour of the Windy City’s most interesting downtown buildings and Jewish neighborhoods.

Join other Biennial attendees for a private dining experience touring Chicago’s pizza scene! Our private bus will have an experienced tour guide from Chicago Pizza Tours first take us to Flo & Santo’s in the South Loop for thin crust, then to Pequod’s Pizza in Lincoln Park for deep dish, and finally to Lou Malnati’s in the Gold Coast for the most famous deep dish and dessert. Each stop includes your meal and either beer, wine, or a soft drink.

Jewish Chicago

A docent from Forgotten Chicago will lead a bus tour of North Lawndale and adjacent areas that comprised the heart of Jewish Chicago from the 1920s to the 1950s. We will see Douglas Park, Roosevelt Road, Mt. Sinai Hospital, as well as extant, re-purposed synagogues and community institutions, and sites of those that have not survived. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the story of one of Chicago's great Jewish neighborhoods.

This tour will take place rain or shine.

Galit: Private Dining

Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime private dining experience at Galit, one of Chicago’s most anticipated new restaurants of 2019. Created by James Beard Award-winning chef Zachary Engel, Galit’s Middle Eastern food and wine have been written up by food critics across America.

Chef Engel will prepare a four-hour, five-course private dining experience for Biennial attendees that will include hors d’oeuvres and a family-style dinner with salads, seasonal vegetable dishes, an entrée, dessert, and coffee service. Three drink pairings will be provided.

 

Food will be served kosher-style with meat and dairy served on separate dishes. Dietary restrictions will be provided to the restaurant and accommodated. Price includes roundtrip transportation from the Convention Center, your meal, three drink pairings, and all gratuities.

 

Due to the nature of this experience, special meal requests cannot be honored. Participants will return to the Convention Center after the conclusion of late night programming.
